In this game you are a Formula 1 manager. You have some money to invest in an F1 team and that's what you do. You hire a drivers, train mechanics, manage funds and do similar things. You do participate in races, but you don't control them in the real time. You need to press the keys that appear on the screen without mistaking. If you do this, your car will move and will turn the right way.
